Forgive and forget ! Easier to preach than to practice, Better to practice than preach !!

To define forgiveness is easy but to understand is formidable. Psychologist generally define forgiveness as a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person who has harmed you regardless of weather they actually deserve your forgiveness.
Sometimes we think that it does not matter if the person deserves to be forgiven or not because what matters is if they are actually seeking for it or not. Forgiveness is called an act for self, to help you put your mind at ease, to help you come out of the stress you'v been carrying around, to make you feel light. Forgiving is hard and forgetting is harder, but the more you think about it the more gross your mind gets. Is it really that difficult to step away from the path of thorns to take a shade under a tree that takes nothing in return?
Lets try to split up the words - they say "for giving" and "for getting". The words say it all - it is to give and get in return. Let's not wait for them to apologize, let's bless them and get our mental peace back. That would fetch us the long lost smile that was just there waiting to see the world through our eyes. The forgetting part may take time but then time is an excellent healer.

कुछ इस तरह हमने ज़िन्दगी को आसान कर दिया
किसी से माफ़ी मांग ली और किसी को माफ़ कर दिया

Also, I am not in favor of taking revenges because then you go to bed plotting, and all you are left with is those memories that you don't want to come back to you, forgetting is optional but forgiving is fulfilling.
Still if they start to come back in your head to snatch away your happiness, speak aloud :
You cannot steal my sunrises.
Today you are just a past tense !

PS : kar ke dekho accha lagta hai !! :P
